We hope that we've covered most of your questions below.
If not, please don't hesitate to contact us with your question.
What do I get for £149?
Included in the price is your domain name, one years' free hosting and a 5 page website. Please also refer to our What's Included section for other inclusive features.
When do I pay?
DK Site Design require a deposit of £49. The remaining £100 is payable upon completion, and only when you are 100% satisfied with the site.
If you opt for any Extras, these are also payable upon satisfactory completion of the site.
How do I pay?
You can either pay by cheque, or securely online with a credit card via the Order a Website page.
How long will it take before my website is up and running?
This depends on what you want included on your site, how many pages it is etc. A general timescale would be a few days to 2 weeks, provided that you have sent us all the necessary content.
Do I have to pay DK Site Design to update my site?
No! We do all the hard work for you and then we provide you with a log in and password to your site, which you can then update yourself via the internet. We feel very strongly that you shouldn't have to pay every time you want to update or add something new to your site.
I am not technical - how can I manage my own site?
The system we will provide you with is designed specifically for users without technical know how. A working knowledge of Word will suffice for you to be able to manage your site. A full instruction manual will be provided in the form of either a book, CD or emailed as a PDF.
It is inevitable that at some stage you will have a query and helpful assistance is available either free of charge via email, or by telephone (charged at 50p per minute from a BT landline).
If you still feel that this is not for you, don't worry! Please contact us and we will work out a package that will suit your requirements.
Why do you use PayPal for the e-commerce?
PayPal is a universally recognised, secure online payment system, which accepts all major credit cards.
How much webspace do you provide?
You can have up to 150Mb of webspace. To give you an idea of what this means, the DK Site Design site uses less than 45Mb
